Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and equipment using company-provided specialized containers
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety standards at all times
- Document delivery details and maintain accurate logs in our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service to hospital staff and clinic personnel
- Perform routine equipment maintenance checks and report issues promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries across Manhattan and surrounding boroughs
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while following strict protocols
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic digital tools
- Background check and drug screening required (company-covered)
- Prior medical courier or healthcare logistics experience preferred
