Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and pharmaceuticals via climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain precise temperature logs and documentation for chain-of-custody compliance
- Coordinate with healthcare facilities for timely pickups/delays using GPS tracking systems
- Adhere to strict HIPAA protocols and biohazard handling procedures
- Perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure operational readiness
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and receiving facilities
- Complete digital manifests and incident reports with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic familiarity with medical terminology and specimen handling
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize time-sensitive deliveries
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
