Responsibilities
- Securely transport medical specimens, lab samples, and pharmaceuticals between clinics, labs, and hospitals
- Maintain strict temperature control for temperature-sensitive materials using specialized equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Complete accurate documentation and electronic tracking for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare facilities and patients
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical specimen transport or logistics
- OSHA bloodborne pathogen certification preferred
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate temperature-controlled units
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
