Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and documents from collection points to medical facilities and laboratories.
- Verify patient and sender information before and after each delivery to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
- Update delivery status and log notes in the dispatch system immediately after each run.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and time-sensitive delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class C) and a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable personal vehicle (Box truck preferred for full-time positions).
- Basic computer proficiency for logging deliveries.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
