As a Medical Courier, you will serve as the face of our logistics department, ensuring that time-sensitive materials arrive safely and securely. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, lab samples, and equipment to designated healthcare facilities in Raleigh and surrounding areas.
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time, adhering to strict schedules.
- Handle sensitive patient information and medical materials with strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and confidentiality protocols.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.
- Complete accurate daily logs, mileage reports, and delivery receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service to hospital staff and clients.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Reliable personal vehicle or access to a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver equipment in and out of vehicles.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries and checking email.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends if necessary.
