Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver medical specimens and healthcare materials to designated facilities on time and in compliance with safety protocols.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive patient information.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the courier vehicle is in optimal working condition.
- Update delivery tracking systems accurately and provide real-time status updates to dispatch.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
- Basic proficiency with mobile technology and GPS navigation systems.
- Physical stamina to lift boxes and navigate various terrains while driving.
