Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, samples, and confidential medical records from medical facilities to laboratories, hospitals, and clinics with the utmost care and security.
- Adhere to strict time windows and delivery schedules to ensure the integrity of perishable medical items.
- Inspect vehicles daily to ensure cleanliness, proper mechanical condition, and safety compliance before starting routes.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and mobile apps for accurate tracking of all deliveries, pickups, and proof of delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals and patients, representing the MediTrans brand professionally at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and personal appearance while on the clock.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and loading/unloading packages from the trunk without assistance.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems, smartphone apps, and digital scanning tools.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated work ethic with a focus on safety.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous experience in medical logistics, courier services, or delivery driving is a plus but not required.
