As a Medical Courier, you will play a vital role in the healthcare supply chain, ensuring that critical specimens and documents reach their destinations safely and on time.
Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, blood samples, and tissues safely and securely to medical facilities and laboratories.
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance standards and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile applications to track delivery status and update systems in real-time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, professional appearance and vehicle interior.
- Follow designated routes and time schedules to ensure timely delivery of medical packages.
- Handle sensitive paperwork, including manifests and delivery confirmations, with accuracy.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major infractions).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs comfortably.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone apps or scanning devices.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Professional demeanor and appearance required for client interactions.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
