Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks on designated routes in the New York metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain customer signatures.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Manage paperwork, including delivery logs and billing documents.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
