Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail goods to residential and commercial addresses using company-provided vehicles
- Optimize daily routes using GPS navigation to maintain punctual delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation through mobile scanning systems
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team to adjust routes for traffic/weather conditions
- Uphold company safety standards and defensive driving practices
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or commercial driving background preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking apps
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Houston metro area neighborhoods strongly preferred
