Responsibilities
As a Dedicated OTR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain. Your key duties include:
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over long distances (OTR) to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading and unloading procedures.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Report mechanical issues immediately to maintenance to ensure fleet readiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
