Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (tractor-trailers) to deliver freight on schedule and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and all required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to resolve any logistical challenges.
- Adhere strictly to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Handle cargo loading and unloading with the utmost care to prevent damage.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and cargo securement.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
