Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages and goods within Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area streets and navigation systems
- Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for using delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must be at least 21 years old with reliable transportation
