Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B vehicles to deliver freight on assigned overnight routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Load/unload shipments using proper equipment (pallet jacks, forklift certification a plus)
- Communicate delivery status and exceptions via real-time tracking systems
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Resolve delivery discrepancies with customers and dispatch team
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with all licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and surrounding regions
- Flexible availability to work overnight shifts (typically 8 PM - 4 AM)
- Proficient with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
