Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across the Midwest
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system (ELD)
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Provide excellent customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document and report any mechanical issues or delivery discrepancies
Qualifications
- No truck driving experience required (paid training provided)
- Valid driver's license (Class C or higher)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for weight distribution and delivery documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule availability (including weekends/holidays)
- Must be 21+ years old
