Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Wichita and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of service
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during all delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual/automatic transmission
- Strong knowledge of Wichita-area streets and GPS navigation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking
