Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across regional routes
- Execute weekend shift schedules (Friday-Sunday) with precise time management
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Deliver exceptional customer service during cargo handling and delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery coordination
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background investigation
- Proven track record of on-time delivery and safety compliance
- Flexible schedule availability for weekend shifts
