Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-owned delivery vehicles to designated locations within Madison and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring all items are handled with care and placed securely.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving delivery issues and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Maintain a clean and organized truck interior, keeping the cargo area free of debris.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Complete daily delivery logs and paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
