Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport equipment and materials to designated local destinations in Colorado Springs.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and delivery documentation, including checking in with clients upon arrival.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve delivery issues or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a logistics or delivery capacity.
- Strong understanding of local Colorado Springs geography and traffic patterns.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment (up to 50-75 lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
