The Role:
As a Local Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods to residential and commercial clients. You will interact directly with customers, ensuring a positive unboxing experience every time.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Follow designated delivery routes and schedules to meet time-critical deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and feedback with a smile.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicle are kept clean and organized.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional driving experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong navigation skills and the ability to read maps or use GPS systems.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
