Responsibilities
- Safely deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial addresses using company vehicles
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service through positive interactions and order accuracy
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety checks, and report maintenance needs
- Manage inventory during transit and verify deliveries against manifests
- Assist with warehouse duties including sorting, scanning, and loading shipments
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Basic smartphone proficiency for GPS and delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of Baton Rouge streets and neighborhoods preferred
