Responsibilities
- Operate your owned box truck for high-value freight in the St. Petersburg metro area
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize delivery routes using provided GPS technology for maximum efficiency
- Build and maintain professional relationships with high-volume commercial clients
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance records
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and settlement paperwork weekly
- Utilize our digital freight matching platform to secure premium loads
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial auto liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015 or newer) with DOT-compliant specifications
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch and communication
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
