Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26ft-53ft) for local/regional deliveries in Baltimore
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance
- Optimize routes for on-time deliveries while maximizing efficiency
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage inventory handling for various freight types
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Own or willing to finance a compliant box truck (26ft-53ft)
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- DOT medical certification and required permits
- Reliable smartphone and communication skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
