Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and quarries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations at all times
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each haul
- Coordinate with site supervisors to optimize loading/unloading efficiency
- Operate GPS systems for route optimization and real-time tracking
- Secure cargo properly to prevent spills during transport
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle performance concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and GPS technology
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and hazard prevention
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age with reliable transportation
