Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus using positive reinforcement
- Follow precise routes and schedules with GPS tracking
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and dispatch
- Document student attendance and incident reports
- Assist students with boarding/exiting and mobility needs
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with Passenger & School Bus endorsements
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass background check, drug screening, and DOT physical
- Child CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with children preferred
