Responsibilities
- Safely transport K-12 students on designated routes
- Conduct daily pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Enforce bus safety protocols and student conduct
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate professionally with parents and staff
- Respond appropriately to emergency situations
- Adhere to all DOT and district regulations
Qualifications
- Valid California Class B CDL with passenger/S endorsement
- Minimum 2 years driving experience
- Pass background check and physical exam
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (student supplies/equipment)
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience working with children preferred
