Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) for local/regional routes
- Load/unload freight with proper pallet jack/equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records (ELD)
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch for optimal route planning
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Strong navigation skills (GPS/Google Maps proficiency)
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Pass background/drug screening (required)
- Knowledge of Ohio/Indiana/Michigan highway systems
