Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods safely and efficiently
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and maintain accurate trip logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for route optimization and delivery schedules
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of cargo using equipment (e.g., pallet jacks)
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
