Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations (FMCSA).
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secure and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (DVIR, Hours of Service) and daily inspection reports.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems and road maps to meet delivery deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and shippers.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred, but Entry Level candidates with a clean record are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging hours and tracking cargo.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
