Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (semi-trucks, box trucks) to transport freight on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Plan efficient delivery routes while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions or delivery issues
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Represent company professionally with clients and at delivery sites
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Basic navigation skills and GPS proficiency
- Strong time management and route optimization abilities
- Physical capability to handle loading/unloading duties
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
