Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks to transport construction materials and debris
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Load/unload materials using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Navigate complex job sites and urban Detroit routes efficiently
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial dump truck experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Michigan traffic laws and construction site safety
- Physical capability to perform manual labor and climb equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
