Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated regional routes (FL, GA, AL, SC)
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch on load status, delays, and route adjustments
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
- Secure cargo using proper tie-down techniques per DOT guidelines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year MVR (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major preventable accidents)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated or regional routes
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Proficient in electronic logging devices (ELD) and Qualcomm systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays (max 2 nights/week)
