Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 24-26ft box truck for local/regional deliveries within Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia
- Manage end-to-end logistics including loading/unloading, route optimization, and timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication via our digital tracking system
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Build client relationships through exceptional service and reliability
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient scheduling and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience in urban environments
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance and DOT medical certification
- Strong knowledge of DC metro area traffic patterns and delivery zones
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks/dollies
- Entrepreneurial mindset with basic business management skills
- Smartphone proficiency for digital dispatch and communication tools
