Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (53' dry van reefers) for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Ensure secure loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive freight
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- 2+ years commercial freight driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Miami-Dade County roadways and delivery protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexibility for early morning starts (4 AM-6 AM)
