Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across San Jose Bay Area routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules and route adjustments
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate shipment status with dispatch and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of San Jose metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Basic smartphone proficiency for digital logs
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
