Responsibilities
- Safely operate your box truck for local/regional freight deliveries in Memphis and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate with dispatch team
- Ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations and perform routine maintenance checks
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional on-time service
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting delivery time windows
- Manage load/unloading coordination at client locations
- Submit weekly documentation for timely payment processing
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Owned box truck (24-26ft) with valid registration and insurance
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Smartphone with reliable internet for app-based communication
- Professional communication skills and customer service focus
