Job Summary
We are looking for Class A CDL drivers to transport goods across the West Coast. You will be responsible for ensuring cargo is delivered safely and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight to customers in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery receipts.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles geography and regional routes.
- Basic computer literacy for Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and cargo tracking systems.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
