Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and critical supplies between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control for sensitive materials using specialized containers
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and chain-of-custody procedures
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure on-time arrivals
- Complete detailed documentation and maintain electronic logs
- Respond to emergency STAT deliveries with urgency and professionalism
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years medical transport or logistics experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and biohazard handling
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- Pass background check and drug screening
