Responsibilities
- Safe Transport of Specimens: Safely and securely transport medical specimens, blood samples, and documents to and from local clinics, hospitals, and testing facilities in Fort Worth.
- Strict Compliance: Adhere to all HIPAA regulations, CDC guidelines, and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety standards to ensure specimen integrity.
- Real-Time Reporting: Utilize handheld scanners and GPS tracking to update delivery statuses in real-time and maintain accurate digital logs.
- Vehicle Care: Keep your delivery vehicle clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Perform routine vehicle inspections before each shift.
- Professionalism: Interact courteously with medical personnel and patients, representing MediTransfer Solutions with a high level of professionalism.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Must possess a valid, unrestricted driver's license and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Technology Proficiency: Must have a smartphone with data capabilities (Android or iPhone) for GPS navigation and app-based reporting.
- Time Management: Demonstrate exceptional punctuality and the ability to manage multiple stops efficiently within a shift.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during deliveries.
