Responsibilities
- Transport medical specimens, documents, and medical equipment safely and securely from medical facilities to laboratories and hospitals.
- Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and healthcare compliance standards regarding the handling of bio-hazardous materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness and proper organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Ensure timely delivery within strict time windows to maintain patient care schedules.
- Complete daily logs, mileage reports, and digital delivery receipts accurately.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C) and a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3-5 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Reliable smartphone with data capabilities for GPS tracking and app-based communication.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking.
- Basic computer skills for logging deliveries.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional appearance.
