Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, organs, and pharmaceuticals via climate-controlled vehicles
- Maintain strict chain of custody documentation and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Coordinate with hospitals, labs, and clinics for timely pickups and deliveries
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal condition
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route optimization and delivery verification
- Communicate professionally with healthcare staff regarding delivery status and special requirements
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Washington State driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical or specialized courier services
- OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens certification (or willingness to obtain)
