Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks for long-haul freight deliveries across Texas and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Collaborate with dispatch team to troubleshoot route issues and communicate delays
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Represent Arlington Premium Logistics with professionalism at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
