Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMV) on over-the-road (OTR) routes in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation and handling.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards for safety and customer service at all times.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License required (willingness to obtain training if currently holding a CDL B).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and background check.
- Strong work ethic, time management skills, and ability to work independently.
