Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes within the Tampa metropolitan area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report maintenance needs.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment, ensuring cargo security and safety at all times.
- Manage delivery schedules, adhere to time windows, and maintain accurate electronic logging.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to minimize liability.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Proven experience driving box trucks or straight trucks.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of local Tampa, FL roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid legal documentation to work in the United States.
