Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Manage efficient loading/unloading operations with minimal dock time
- Maintain accurate electronic logs, trip reports, and vehicle inspection records
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficient with ELD systems and GPS navigation technology
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips and weekend availability
