Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight across Nebraska and surrounding states on dedicated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and delivery scheduling
- Document delivery receipts and resolve customer inquiries with professionalism
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation systems
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required
