Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates
- Conduct daily pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload materials at construction sites and landfills efficiently
- Navigate Charlotte metro area routes while meeting delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors
- Document delivery reports and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with airbrake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years dump truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area roads and construction sites
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and safety-conscious mindset
