Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance
- Maintain discipline and create a positive environment for student passengers
- Adhere to traffic laws and school district policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete accurate trip logs and incident reports as required
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Driver's License or ability to obtain one
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
