Responsibilities
- Safely operate freight trucks (dry van and reefers)
- Load/unload cargo with forklifts/pallet jacks
- Maintain daily inspection logs and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage delivery routes and time-sensitive shipments
- Communicate with dispatch and clients proactively
- Complete paperwork accurately and promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- 2+ years commercial trucking experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Familiarity with California roadways
- Pass pre-employment drug and background checks
- Basic forklift certification preferred
- Strong time management and communication skills
