Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes within Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery timelines
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Optimize routes for efficiency while prioritizing safety and on-time delivery
- Document all delivery activities and handle required paperwork accurately
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Colorado roadways and mountain driving conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
